Is The Watchmen too short for what it's doing? Took me like 10 hours or something to read the whole graphic novel.

It was a lengthy movie, stuff was changed which is to be expected but it's enjoyable imo. There's going to be a longer director's cut too but probably for dvd

Rorschach wasn't hiding in Moloch's fucking refrigerator for chrissakes, and he refuses to wear anything different when they go to Antarctica later in the story still.

When comparing a lot of those scenes to the part they're based on in the graphic novel, I'm surprised how they skip on the subtlety they originally had for no real reason. I've been reading the comic version of Ender's Shadow, and that shortens the dialogue and rearranges it and shit, but it keeps details, parts that made it good. It has creative solutions for the rearrangement too. I know people can do it if they're good enough at that sort of thing.

Hooded Justice had a Russian accent, which was an awesome touch since it was speculated that he was this circus performer in some appendix. Oh and Silk Spectre actually socks the Comedian instead of scratching him, but when Hooded Justice starts wailing on him he doesn't make it very clear that they both know HJ gets a sexual thrill out of assaulting people.

Also Rorschach originally busted that toilet so it would kill the guy with the saw while he was still standing. That and when he fights Ozymandias in the novel solidified that he preferred to make weapons of things around him instead of going hand to hand.
